Single Blast
PJSC Zaporizhskyi Iron Ore Company is one of the largest enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine, which develops the Pivdenno-Bilozerske deposit of rich iron ores by the underground method. The enterprise implement level preparation of mine field and level-chamber system of ore development and subsequent artificial maintenance of the working space due to solid stowing usage. The engineers of the enterprise are seriously interested in the development and implementation of the automated design system. One of the systems on which the project VirtualMine: as a modeling tool for Wider Society Learning is based today is SingleBlast software. This product was developed for the design of drilling operations in the conditions of PJSC Zaporizhskyi Iron Ore Company. SingleBlast passed the appropriate testing and proved its effectiveness in simulating the reproduction of ore extraction processes at this enterprise.
The SingleBlast program allow to solve the following main tasks: current and future planning of mining operations; drawing up plans for extraction works, both for the drainage area and for the entire mine area as a whole; maintenance of the database of geological information; graphic documentation maintenance; processing of surveying data, construction of a simulation model of mining work according to theodolite filming both on plans and sections, and in three-dimensional mapping; display of three-dimensional space of mining, geological (ore body) and technological (stope chamber, gob stowing) contours; interaction of sections in a three-dimensional model with mining plans; design of well drilling at various mining and geological and technological parameters; determination of technological parameters of fans and series of operational wells and their graphical representation; calculation of expenses of explosive materials, volume of destroyed ore mass; working with the AutoCAD system; automatic reporting on the data received.
The software will significantly reduce the complexity of the work and the time of designing the technical documentation
Creation of an electronic database of mining, geological and surveying documentation will allow storing, finding and working with previously created documentation. By using the database, the services receive prompt access to job information. Accordingly, the engineering and technical workers of the plant will be able to make more effective decisions. Implementation of the software will facilitate the further development and implementation of computer technology in the design of mining, increasing the level of training of employees and prestige of the enterprise as a whole.
Participation in scientific and technical meetings showed that PJSC Zaporizhskyi Iron Ore Company is interested in implementing the project VirtualMine: as a modeling tool for Wider Society Learning, which is being implemented within the framework of the European Horizont 2020 program and is ready to consider introducing the project results. |
