International Forum „INNOVATION MARKET” (IFIM)

International Forum „INNOVATION MARKET” (IFIM) is an exhibition-presentation, held under the patronage of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated: November 23, 2016, # 864-p). This year, this event was held jointly by Ukrainian and Chinese manufacturers of high-tech products. Following leading national and foreign state, business, non-government structures were co-organizers of the Forum:

This event is practically the largest in Ukraine, where there are innovators, inventors, manufacturers of leading innovative technologies, authors of Startup projects meet with representatives of enterprises - potential consumers interested in technological updating of production processes, accelerators of investment projects, experts in various branches of economy, consultants in the field of protection of the intellectual property, representatives of authoritative investment and financial institutions. 

The National Mining University, as one of the leaders in the development of high-tech projects, also widely represented its works at the Forum. Near the D15 pavilion (dedicated to our university), there were always a lot of interested representatives of different companies, were discussions about the possibility of introducing the presented works, their investment attractiveness, interest in the international arena and other issues.

Of course, we also presented our international cooperation projects, which is conducted in the frame of European Institute of Innovation & Technology, (EIT), Raw Materials and financed by EU Program “Horizon - 2020” “VirtualMine: as a modeling tool for Wider Society Learning”. An unconventional approach to presenting manufacturing processes in a limited space of mining enterprises has caused lively interest among Forum participants, especially for our Chinese partners, who have offered their services to implement relevant software for main objectives of the project solution. The ability to visualize the mine as a joint system with the simultaneous presentation of the scientific, practical and educational components is in fact a new approach for education process and the mine production activity.
