The Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) is the international project to support invention, innovation and start-up projects launched by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The implementation of the TISC project falls within the competence of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovation (IP Office). The IP Office was the basis for foundation of the Department for the Development of a Network of Technology and Innovation Support Centers within the Department for the Development of the Innovation and Creative Sectors. TISC which is based on the Patent and Licensing Department of the Dnipro University of Technology is aimed at the ensuring the development of the innovation ecosystem and its further development, coordinating efforts in the field of the legal protection and protection of intellectual property rights, commercializing the results of scientific research and technology transfer, promoting the development of the startup movement among students and scientists. The development of the intellectual and innovative potential of the Dnipro University of Technology requires effective cooperation to improve the ecosystem and further development of innovation infrastructure elements, improvement of educational and technical skills in the field of intellectual property and innovation. The establishment of TISC ensures: - informational and consulting support on IP, IPR commercialization and technology transfer; - involvement in joint innovative projects and grant activities; - promoting the development of the startup movement among students and scientists. Cooperation with TISC also involves mutual engagement in thematic conferences, events and the organization of trainings, exercises, and seminars in the field of IP and innovative entrepreneurship.

Services provided for FREE: - providing access to patent and non-patent information resources; - providing consulting assistance on the use of the above-mentioned information resources; - organization of distant learning under the programs of the WIPO Academy; - providing general information on legislation in the field of Intellectual Property and Innovation, as well as regulations on the registration and submission of applications for obtaining IPR titles of protection and maintaining their validity; - informing about the possibilities of obtaining advice from IP specialists - advising on general issues of registration and submission of applications (including electronic versions) for the issuance of IPR protection certificates/- participation in the organization and holding of scientific and practical conferences, seminars, and other events on the issues of legal protection and use of the results of intellectual, creative activity, development of innovative activity, patent research.
