Students about DIM EESE – 2018 Vladyslav Vlasov. The International Mining School DIM ESEE 2018 was held in Dubrovnik (Croatia) on October 15-20. The school was organized and sponsored by the University of Zagreb, the National Mining University, the Montan Universitaet Leoben, the AGH University of Science and Technology, the Technical University of Kosice, the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute, the University of Belgrade, the University of Miskolc.
At this year’s school, were reviewed topics related to Deep Intelligent Mining. I want to note the high professionalism of lecturers from partner universities and the high quality of the prepared information. Particularly I proud of that the largest number of lecturers was from the native university. Our professors showed a high level of preparation at the international level. The organization and conduct of this school also deserves special attention. Accommodation was at the highest level. This consisted in both the placement in the CAAS dormitory center, and in the feeding. Therefore, I express special gratitude to the organizing team. The city of Dubrovnik itself also caused the warmest and brightest emotions. Definitely recommend to visit. Special thanks to Roman Dychkovskyi for the organization and implementation of this project in the framework of the Horizon 2020 program. And I invite all colleagues to participate in this school in the following years. Topics of the school will be the next: 2019 - Small mining sets
2020 - Recycling Illia Tkach. My first international school of study ended and I would like to tell a few words about my impressions that I had while this trip. At first, I want to Express gratitude to our organizations, exactly Roman Omelyanovich Dychkovskyi and Yulia Nikolaevna Pazynich. They showed great organizational skills, also they perfectly took care about our safety and they were great motivators and friendly colleagues. Hosting country was also friendly, and showed to us Croatian seaside in the best way. Everything was well planned, time management was fully followed, helping us to maintain a positive mood. Due to the good organization we also had enough of free time in a very beautiful city - Dubrovnik, which brought me plenty of positive emotions. Breakfasts and dinners on the seaside, a tour of the historical places of the city, an outing excursion to the resort town - were also included into the program, and were an excellent addition to it. Over the course of these 5 days, the topics presented this year revealed to me in a much broad concept, especially with the help of group activities with participants of the conference from different countries united into teams. Everything was great, this project does not end, and it will be until 2020, so I urge everyone to participate in such further events because this experience is priceless.
Tatiana Soroka. I am very grateful to the international project Horizon 2020 and to Roman Omeljanovich Dychkovskyi for the organization of the International Mining School, and also to Yulia Mykolayivna Pasynich for accompanying us and always helping. I am confident that this experience will be useful to me in further scientific activities. I am very happy that I had this opportunity and I took advantage of it. I learned a lot of new things in my field and not only, got new knowledge of the European level, talked with foreign colleagues and made a lot of new friends from different countries. About location of the school I want to say that this is the best place I have to visit, I just enjoy every second in Dubrovnik, there is collected everything that is necessary for the true relaxation of the soul - mountains, the sea, architecture and everything peculiar and nothing similar. This is the case when combined beautiful with useful - lectures from highly skilled professors from different countries of Europe and a great place for these lectures. Almost all day we were studying, but despite this we had plenty of time to swim in the sea, go for excursions and just walk around the city. Summarizing, I want to say that our university provides a huge amount of opportunities for our students, just need to participate in them and then everything will turn out !!!
Kseniia Yurchenko: I want to summarize my participation in the International Mining School, which took place from October 15 to 20 in Dubrovnik. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers of the HORIZON 2020 project, within which this event was held for the excellent organization of the School. Mr. Roman Dyskovskyi, the head of this project in Ukraine, and in general, thanks to whom we learned about this project and the host country's leaders, Mrs. Sibila Boroevic and Mr. Vjeslav Bochanek. Also great gratitude to the curator of our group, Ms. Pazynich Yulia, for the help in organizational matters. During the school, high-class and very interesting lectures from professionals from different countries of Europe were presented, as well as the opportunity to work on practical classes in an international group to which we were included and gave the problem, the decision of which we searched together, and then presented our work Scientific schools are a great opportunity to discuss and look at the development and improvement of the mining industry at different angles! In spite of the fact that our classes were actually from the very morning until the evening, we had the opportunity to take part in a tour of the historical monuments of the beautiful and picturesque town on the shore of the Adriatic Sea - Dubrovnik. I encourage all students not to be afraid to take part in international projects as they spread our horizons, allow us to gain new knowledge in our field of activity and to make contacts with foreign colleagues. Natalia Kohanska. This year, most of my acquaintances were surprised at my autumn trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia. The time has come to tell: "This was a large-scale competition from our Alma Mater in which all interested students participated, which I learned from the page by Roman Dychkovskyi in the social network, each student had the opportunity to take part in the competition for the International Mining School DIM ESEE 2018 As a student of the Department of Computer Systems Software, I needed this school to widening my knowledge of mining, since I have a project: "Conducting exercises of miners using virtual reality technology GOOGLE VR» - This project will help new professionals see their field of activity and go through safety techniques without going down to the mines. The wining in the competition, the plane and here in the bright city on the Adriatic coast, every day was wonderful, and Yulia Pazynich did everything to ensure that a group of students from different departments and different degrees of learning felt as a whole. The largest delegation from Ukraine, has given us an opportunity to show what we are all different, but so wonderful. A week of lectures, group classes and of course staying in a very bright tourist city, have provided an opportunity to only widening knowledge in the field of mining at a level sufficient for my project, but also the opportunity to get in touch with my colleagues from all over the world. Incredible gratitude: Roman Dychkovskyi - as the developer of this project for our Alma Mater, Yulia Pazynich - as the group's curator, my entire department for understanding, personally to the head of my department Iryna Udovik for support, as well as my new friends for a wonderful acquaintance and company. Each student has the opportunity to take part in the international program HORIZON 2020 and discover something incredible - SO ONLY FORWARD.
