Patents&License Agreements

In 2023, Dnipro University of Technology is the owner of 338 valid patents in Ukraine. Work is underway to identify competitive objects of rights to inventions and utility models, know-how, engineering, etc.

At the initiative of the HEE, 293 patents are advertised by the IP Office of Ukraine in the state bulletin "Industrial Property" as proposals to be ready to grant any person permission to use them under a contract or license agreement in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine. Due to this, costs have been reduced by 50% to maintain the validity of patents.

Took part in the "Open Competition for the Best Patent in the Field of Civil Protection and Fire Safety", where, according to the results of the meeting of the competition commission, the high level of the submitted materials was noted, as well as:

- Diploma of the II degree was awarded to the patent for the utility model "Method of open-pit mining of mineral deposits", the authors of which are Artem Pavlichenko, Alexey Chernyaev, Oleg Anisimov, Leonid Gritsenko, Andrey Adamchuk;

- Diploma of the III degree was awarded to the patent for the invention "Rope Transport System", the authors of which are Oleksandr Denyshchenko, Stanislav Bartashevskyi, Andrii Gerasimenko, Oleksandr Koptovets, Ivan Inyutkin, Liudmyla Bartashevska, Yuliia Bartashevska.

We took part in the adapted entrepreneurial training program from IP Office, which helps researchers, inventors and scientists to gain the knowledge necessary for the successful commercialization of research results and their introduction to the market Lab2Market with the project "HYDROGEN", the author of which is Bartashevsky S.E. and took the honorable 1st place.

On November 10, 2023, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovation and an Agreement on the establishment of the TISC Technology and Innovation Support Center.

In 2021-2023, 9 competitive objects of the right to implement on a contract or license basis were formed.

At the end of 2023, we signed a license agreement for the right to use a utility model under patent UA No. 151451.
