Creating a system of bioindicative assessment of toxicity levels of the environment in the territories of the coal-mining regions

Project objective: The complex is highly sensitive biotesting methods will perform express-assessment of toxicity levels of the environment contaminated by coal mining enterprises functioning. The obtained information about the toxicity levels of� environment will be used to develop technologies of detoxifying contaminated air, soil, water bodies that will ensure sustainable development of the coal industry.

Project background: Intensive production of coal is accompanied by a comprehensive environmental pollution with toxic pollutants, which leads to deterioration of living conditions and increases the morbidity of the population. Is necessary to develop a highly sensitive control system for environmental hazards for population of areas disturbed by coal mining enterprises.
