Restoration of ecological potential of wastelands in industrial cities

Project objective: Identification and description of unused abandoned places of industrial cities – wastelands. Development of an appropriate database using computer mapping services. Development of typical restoration projects of wastelands with detailed justification and a model of landscape design in 3D.

Project background: Significant areas of the municipal territory in large industrial cities are not used and considered technogenic wasteland. These wastelands require landscaping and restoration of their ecological functions. Project includes the development of inventory schemes of wastelands in industrial cities. Every extensive unused site will receive restoration project taking into account the social demands and achievements of landscape design.�
