Mineworks: mining equipment searching

Quite often students-miners and employees of technical departments in mines face the task of finding mining equipment corresponding to appropriate mining-geological conditions. Wherein, they generally use paper handbooks, which very often don’t contain recent models of equipment and don’t have a convenient way of quickly searching only those models that match appropriate criteria.

The alternative of obsolete handbooks is the program Mineworks, which is able to select and compare equipment models just after the user enters data of mining-geological criteria!

Let’s consider, for example, operation with group “mechanized barrings” (menu “Catalogue of equipment” – “mining works” – “mechanized supports”), the general  view of catalogue form thereof is given below.

The filter is not set up immediately after appear of the form  and the table of models contains all the models of this group that are in this base, sorted by the model name.

In order to switch model filtering by mining-geological criteria, just enter the necessary parameters in the appropriate fields of filter settings. Just after doing this the table of models will contain only those models which match the indicated mining-geological criteria .

In order to sort the table of models by characteristics, just click the left mouse button on appropriate characteristic in the table.

You can also compare two models in catalogue. One of the models is the chosen current model (is specified by clicking the left mouse button). To specify the second model just click the right mouse button on it.
