On-line coordination of project implementation


The National Mining University is one of the participants in the consortium of the ESEE “International Mining School in Dubrovnik”, Croatia, implemented under the program EU Horizon – 2020 (KIC raw materials). This School connects together international experts in the field of raw materials in Eastern and Southeast Europe. Thematic seminars are aimed at direct transfer of knowledge from renowned experts to participants, as well as the establishment of an open dialogue between students. Knowledge and skills gained at ESEE are purposed at increasing the competitiveness of mining engineers in the labor market.

The holding of the ESEE “International Mining School in Dubrovnik” "DIM 2017 - The Organization of Non-Waste Production" is scheduled for November 20-25, 2017. A number of webinars with the participation of representatives of the consortium were held in order the preparation for its organization. As a result, the conditions for the participation of representatives from all institutions, depending on the geographical location, political and economic situation in their participating countries, were established.

We recall that 5 students from the National Mining University are planned to participate in these events. Colleagues from Zagreb University fully cover the costs associated with the presence of our representatives in Croatia, transport costs incurred by the business structures of Ukraine.
