Achievements

Based on its strategic mission, the department is actively working to integrate the “Scientific Bulletin of NMU” into the international scientific information field, which combines scientific periodicals from all over the world. In this regard, the leading edition of the National Mining University has undergone significant changes.

The scientific level of published articles and the quality of their preperation are constantly increasing. All manuscripts undergo 4 levels of review and validation for the uniqueness of the text using an anti-plagiarism program.

Materials on the publishing policy of the journal, ethical standards for the authors of publications and the License Agreement for the use of the work, which are an important element in the NTU “DP” rating, have been developed and posted on the web-site of the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU”.

Since 2012, the work on integration of the “Scientific Bulletin of NMU” into information resources has been successfully carried out in the following areas.

Integration of the “Scientific Bulletin of the National Mining University” into Information Resources

International scientometric databases:

SciVerse Scopus. Since 2012 the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” has been included in the world’s largest abstract and citation database of scientific periodical literature SciVerse Scopus which is one of authority and successful projects in scientometry. SciVerse Scopus includes over 18000 scientific and technical titles of about 5000 publishing offices all over the world. SciVerse Scopus research performance monitoring tools help to evaluate scientists' performance and are used as criteria for evaluating the performance of higher education institutions

Index Copernicus Journals Master List. In June 2011, the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” was registered in Index Copernicus Journals Master List. Since 1999 Index Copernicus International has been providing the world scientific community with an extraordinary information resource of the Internet network for searching relevant information and spreading data on individuals’ own academic works.

Catalogues of periodicals:

Ulrich's Web™ Global Serials Directory. Since April 2011 the the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” has been included in Ulrichsweb™ Global Serials Directory. “Ulrich's is an authoritative global catalogue of periodicals and is a search and discovery tool used extensively by academic library staff, faculty and students, staff and patrons in public and special libraries, publishers, corporations, and researchers worldwide.”

ResearchBib. Since June 2012 the the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” has been included in ResearchBib Journal Database. The ResearchBib Journal Database is the largest complete journal database freely available on the Internet.

Full-text databases:

EBSCOhost databases. Since 2012 the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” has been included in full-text data-base platform EBSCOhost which belongs to the “EBSCO Publishing, Inc” Company. EBSCO Publishing is the authoritative publisher of scientific and technical periodicals and reliable provider of scientific information for different organizations worlwide – from schools and public libraries to research and production corporations and governmental agencies. The Dnipro University of Technology signed a licence agreement with "EBSCO Publishing, Inc" (USA) for enhancing the Publications Content of the Scientific Bulletin of the National Mining University.

V.I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine. The archives of the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” have been presented in the full-text Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine base since 2009.

Abstract database:

ProQuest. Since 2012 the journal the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” has been included in ProQuestdatabase. The integrated search platform provides access to 74 databases and electronic libraries the materials of which reflect virtually all areas of science and education. The total volume of sources is about 8000 titles, including more than 4500 full-text journals.

Institute of Information Registration Problems of NAS of Ukraine. The journal the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” has been included in National scientific database “Ukrainika Naukova”. Materials of our journal are published according to appropriate subjects in Ukrainian abstract journal “Dzherelo” (Source).

VINITI RAS. Since2011 the “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” has been included in scientific literature fund VINITI of Russian Academy of Science. It is included into Abstract journal and Subject bases VINITI RAS.

Subscription adgencies:

Ukrainian State Post Service Enterprise “Ukrposhta”. The leading subscription agency in Ukraine is subscribed on the journal “Scientific Bulletin of the NMU” since 2010. It has index 89166 in the Serial Directory.

Limited Liability Company “Ukrinformnauka”. Information about Scientific Bulletin of the National Mining University is published in Serials Directory of subscription adgency “Ukrinformnauka”.
